Built for Climbers.
Ascent Aid™ was created around a simple idea: climbers deserve medical equipment designed with the same level of intention as the rest of their climbing system.
Most first aid kits aren’t built for vertical terrain. They’re bulky, poorly organized, and filled with items of questionable utility. Maybe that’s why so many climbers don’t carry one at all.
A roll of athletic tape and a few Band-Aids might get you through a split fingertip. They won’t get you through a real emergency.
Who’s on Belay?
Founded in the Rocky Mountains by an experienced outdoorsman and traditional climber, Ascent Aid combines firsthand experience in technical climbing, wilderness medicine, emergency medical care, and climbing instruction to create purpose-built medical equipment for climbers.
Our founder maintains the following certifications:
Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
Wilderness First Responder (WFR)
AMGA Single Pitch Instructor (SPI)
That experience informs everything we build—from what goes into our kits to how it's organized, carried, and used when something goes wrong.
Ascent Aid is proudly designed, manufactured, and tested in the Rocky Mountains.
